What are you doing tomorrow - New Years Day?

Why not blow away the old year with a New Years Day walk.   This free walk starts at 11:00 am  from Linacre woods Lower Car Part ( start point ) and is  5 miles in length taking in a couple of pubs ( opening times permitting ).

What's in store for the rest of the Year?

Well  coming up we have an Easter Break in The Lake District  - Cockermouth Youth Hostel  re-opens soon an update from the youth hostel manager is imminent.

In addition to the  forthrightly walking calendar plans are afoot  to add a Challenge Walk to the activities  currently.   This years well be looking at the Yorkshire Three Peaks. But more of that as we firm up the plans.   This will lead to additional walks in between the planned walks  these Training Walks will be harder and  of an increase difficulty.  We  will also be needing for this event  support personal  so event if you don't want to do the challenge we still need you.

In the summer, August  we'll  start another tradition  the Annual Club  BBQ  this year it will  be a no walking weekend and will be held  at the New HQ

In the planning  stage is a Day Trip to the coast  Scarborough, Skegnesss or Hunstanton  date and time  will be added shortly.

In October / November a night out with the club -  Lets go Bowling + A meal.  Details as they become available.
